Identify and Search results - date format is different

I'm using GE 4.4 and GVH 2.5. I noticed that when using identify to get information the date is just a date - great! But when I use instant search to find the same record, a time is added to the date value. Make it stop!

  It's more/worse than that! The Date is being modified in the display of its value and is adding or subtracting the difference in GMT to/from the date. In our case being in the central time zone in the us, -5 GMT, dates are being displayed with the previous date at 7:00 pm (actual date -5 hrs). So, 2/3/2016 displays as 2/2/2016, 7:00:00 PM
