show the non spatial data result in data region

i want to do 2 things by workflow

 

step 1. i generate a featureset which is from a non spatial data table and display it in the result list panel

 

step 2. i want to click on any of the result list item and zoom to the location

 

i am able to get to the first step. in order to do the second step, i want to add some spatial reference to individual item in the list, and zoom to the item when i click on the item. how could i achieve that by the workflow? any help is appreicated. Thanks,
