Essentials Manager not passing AD credentials for AGS secured service
We have several installations of Essentials 4.2 in our dev/test environment and all but one are working fine when accessing secured AGS services.
One server however, does not seem to be passing the AD credentials we enter on the Add Map Service dialog.
The only message returned is "Connection Failed". There is nothing in the REST logs and the IIS logs show the connection attempts with a status of 401 (unauthorized). When connecting from any other server, the IIS log shows the initial request followed by a second request which includes the domain/username that we configured.
As far as I know, all our servers are set up the same way, so I'm not sure why this one is acting differently. Has anyone else run into this issue?

After a bit more messing around I was able to determine that the issue seems to be with using the DNS name. If I use the IP address, it will connect fine but if I put the FQDN in, it will fail. It's still sending requests to the right place (it's in the IIS logs) but it just won't send authentication details along with the request.
Still looking for the reason why.
