ShowFeatureTemplatePicker viewer command
Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to use the ShowFeatureTemplatePicker viewer command. I'm invoking this from the home panel and I would like it to display the edit template for a specific layer. The optional parameter is a layer - A feature layer for which to display templates. How do I specify the feature layer? I have tried the feature layer url, but no luck. Thanks.

It plobably takes the layer ID for the feature service from the site.
We use the command ActivateView with parameter TemplatePickerView.0 -
Thanks for your reply. I tried that but no luck. I'm wondering if its meant to be used with a layer token, like {LayerId}. If so, I wont be able to use in the home panel as I'd like. 0 -
Encountering the same issue here,
You can invoke RunExternalCommand with cmd="ShowFeatureTemplatePicker"
but specifying a unique layer (in the hope that it would just start capturing a new polygon for example) is not working.Looking at the default Edit button in the toolbar, it seem to indeed expect a target layer name (to be edited).
I think it's a bug in their system.0 -
Hi,
I'd recommend opening a support ticket for further assistance or to report a bug.
Thanks,
