Instant Search with Geocortex Core Not Working
Hi,
I am having a major issue getting my Instant Search to work with Geocortex Essentials 4.4. About six months ago, we moved from Essentials 4.2 to 4.3, and then about two months ago, to 4.4. While we were at 4.2, the instant search seemed to work fine and we had no issues with its functionality. However, since we moved to 4.3/4.4, it has not worked. The one service we had previously configured still worked, but each of the new services I tried to configure just sit and scan and never go beyond that phase.
Checking the log files, it seems that upgrading to 4.3 caused an error when intializing the Instant Search, and I think it has to do with the establishment of Geocortex Core vs. the previous Geocortex Application Services 2. Because it is in a seperate folder structure (C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Application Services 2 vs C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Core), I don't think it is finding the right place to run.
Has anyone run into this issue? Is there a folder I can transfer over to make it work? I tried to delete the Data folder like people have suggested in other posts and that did not work for me.
Thanks for the help.
Greg

For reference, talked to Geocortex Support and it seems the best way to solve the Instant Search still referencing the Geocortex Application Services 2 is stop the Geocortex Core service, delete the whole GAS 2 folder, and re-install Geocortex Core. You have to start your indexes from scratch, but it makes things a lot simplier going forward then trying to move folders around. 0
