Missing user added menu items in HTML5 ‘I Want To Menu’ using IE11
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced missing user defined ‘I Want To’ menu items in HTML5 Viewer using IE11.
For example, ‘course workflows’ and ‘X’ are added to I Want To menu

But nothing shows if opening the viewer in an IE11 browser (IE10, Firefox and Chrome will work)

If I click Preview Desktop link, I can see the two new items:

Setting on IE10 and IE11 are the same and the only difference I see is IE version.
This is created using Geocortex Essential Manager 4.4.3 and HTML5 2.5
Thanks

Hello Chen-Ting,
I haven't seen this exact beheviour before, but is it possible that it's a caching issue?
Thanks,
Danny0 -
Hi Danny,
I had the same issue when taking a Geocortex online class but didn’t check which IE version is installed on Geocortex virtual machines. During the class, the instructor pointed out multiple instance of Geocortex Manager were open so that might be the cause at the time.
Back in the office, with only one Geocortex Manager open, the issue persists. I tried to clear cache but still the same. Right now we are using Silverlight as production viewer but I’ll keep this in mind and reply back if anything else came up.
Thanks for your suggestion.

are you configuring Desktop, Tablet and Phone simutaneously? if not, you will experience varianes if viewer in Tablet, then desktop. 0 -
Hi Sean,
That was the answer. I had some tools set up simultaneously and others configured individually (didn't notice the configuration simultaneously/individually is not set globally). As a result, the tools availables on a desktop and a tablet were different. Thanks for pointing it out!
