Workflow to search mulitple layers

Does anyone have a workflow, or know how to have a startup workflow search multiple layers? I have a startup workflow that will search one layer, but I would like to be able to pass in a parcel ID and search many layers. Thanks.

  Just use the Parallel Activity in your workflow and query the layers. Each Parallel would be a layer query just like a single query.

  Hi Tom, thanks for the reply. I actually had some luck from your other response about running the global search from a URL. I used that and got it to work and I have the search results pane, but the home panel is still the visible panel. Is there an easy way to then make the search results pane visible? Thanks.
