How to add attachments in "SendMail" Activity?
Just wondering if anyone still has access to Alejandro Sanchez's version of sample workflow from http://support.geocortex.com/find-parcels-near-schools-workflow-from-html5-viewer-webinar that will send emails with attached reports. The link in old post is is no longer valid. I'm having trouble attaching a file to an email and need some help if anyone has a solution.
Thanks,
Frank

Hi Frank,
That example has been moved into the new Code Gallery. You can find it here: https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCCodeGallery?sub-nav=codegall&main-nav=essentials&#!/feedtype=SINGLE_ARTICLE_DETAIL&criteria=BESTANSWERS&id=kA4600000004EX3CAM0 -
Hi Pandora,
Thanks. I looked at that workflow. It was the basis for the one I believe Alejandro create, but his modified verision also included the syntax for sending the reports in a email. That's the part I'm looking for. I'm trying to send a temporary shapefile in an email, but I can't figure out how to attach the the file. I created a System.Net.Mail.Attachment using the method System.Net.Mail.Attachment.CreateAttachmentFromString and then added the attachment to a and ICollection of Attachments. The ICollection is then used as an input argument for the Send Mail activity. The attachment, however, doesn't arrive with the email. I was hoping to take a look at the implementation that Alejandro created for help in how to send the file.
Thanks,
Frank

Here's the link to the above modified workflow that Alejandro created: https://support.geocortex.com/Data/Sites/1/userfiles/1750/findparcelsnearschools.zip. The page is no longer available, but I thought maybe the workflow was archived somewhere. 0 -

Is anyone else able to hit it?0 -
Hi guys,
Looks like a typo in that URL. You can find the zip file here:
