How to change the default location of the Sites folder? can we do it after installation or we need to do it during?

  Hello Sahadeb,

  You can change the location of the Sites folder by changing the gcx.io.fileSystem.path value in the REST and Manager web.config files.

  Has anyone tried this?  We changed the paths like recommended above but it killed our access to Essentials Manager.

  Hello Jeff,

  I've just confirmed that this is still functioning correctly in Essentials 4.9.

   

  Did you change any other settings in the web.config files during this change? Also, are you able to re-run the Post Installation Configuration then access Manager? Could you check for error messages in the log files (C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\REST\App_Data\Logs and C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Manager\App_Data\Logs)?
