Line Feature Heat Maps

In many other programs (Cityworks) you are able to create dynamic heat maps through the client on points, lines & polygon feature classes. Currently, the only feature type that Geocortex allows you to create a heat map against is a point. This is forcing me to create secondary fature classes in SDE that are point centroids for my main line features (water, sewer, storm - gravity mains). If geocortex allowed you to create heat maps on all feature classes regardless of the type this will solve my problem and reduce unnecessary clutter within my SDE.
