Site Sign-Out Landing Page URL not respected in Access Denied Page

I’ve got a site that’s using the windows integrated security. I’ve assigned a windows group to have access to the site and denied anonymous access. I’ve also configured the sign-in settings to enable sign-in and sign-out and set the sign-out landing page URL to our intranet site (http://intranet/SitePages/Home.aspx).

 

When the site is accessed (from the HTML5 viewer) and signed in with an account with no access permission, I get the Access Denied page with a sign out button/link on the top right corner. If I click on the button, it’s showing that I’m signed in as Blank and when I click Sign out, it refreshes and returns to the exact site (https://<domain>/internalmaps/?viewer=Test) instead of the site assigned in the sign-out landing page URL. Is there a default sign-out parameter value that I need to change somewhere in the essentials directory?

 

We’re on Essentials 4.4.2 and HTML5 2.5.2.
