Common Icon Directory
We support 3 different agencies and have several active sites. Each site has it's own color scheme to match company logos and colors. The new HTML5 toolbar icons and graphics are great. We have downloaded them and ran them through an Illustrator process that created additional icons in dark blue, maroon, and dark green (so we now have 4 color sets).
Now I can't figure out where to put them. If I keep them in the HTML5Viewer directory/subdirectory (where the original toolbar icons are) then I can't see them from Manager when I want to customize a toolbar button. This is because the dialog that allows you to select a toolbar icon points to the site's resource directory. I could copy the icons to the site's resource directory but then I have multiple copies of the icons all over the place and it becomes difficult to manage.
I would really like to have one location to put ALL my common graphics that can be seen from the manager. This will help us keep a common and consistent feel between all the site while allowing them to have icons that match the color scheme. Site specific icons and graphics can live in the site specific resource directory.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

REST Manager references icons from a copied viewer (done during VTE deployment). In order for REST Manager to 'see' the icons, you can put them into <Essentials Install>/RestManager/Html5Viewer/Viewer/Resources/Images
You'll also need to place them into the same corresponding folder in the deployed viewer in wwwroot. This is because when in Manager and when using the viewer, the relative path is different.
Another option is not deploying them into REST Manager's viewer, only into the viewer in wwwroot. You won't be able to see the icons at design time, but when using the application they will be there visible.
Hope this helps.

Correction-
The images you see with relative path names in Manager are hosted in the following location:
<Essentials Install>\REST Elements\Manager\Html5Viewer\Viewer\Resources\Images

Another solution to your issue could be to have multiple instances of Geocortex on your server. Have one for each agency then customize for their specific needs. I have 11 different instances on one server.

Both good ideas. However, I don't think I explained exactly what I am looking for. In the 1st image below you can see the directory you get when you try to change an icon on the toolbar. This is a site specific location. What I would like to be able to get to is a directory like you see in the second image which is available to ALL sites at both design time as well as run time. If this was possible I could simply drop my common toolbar icons in here and use them across multiple sites.
