Control Map Labelling of Features

Can you control the map labelling of (point) features in the essentials manager?

 

For the purpose of not embedding the labelling in the service, so that all may use as desired, it would be ideal to have labelling configurable at the application level.

 

AGOL now does this... It would be great if Geocoretx did as well.

  I've just been using Geocortex for a week or so, and I cannot seem to be able to find this feature either.

   

  Is it possible to label a Feature Service??  Also, is it possible to control the symbology through Geocortex Essentials?

  I don't think feature services support labeling.  You need a dynamic map service that has labels enabled.

   

  And to control them in the viewer, the map service may also need to support dynamic workspaces.
