active feature selection set/collection is not cleared after close a maptip

I have turned on maptips on a map layer, after a click a feature on map, pushpin and maptips window displayed as expected. However, after I close maptips window, and run my custom workflow which uses "Get Selected Features" Activity, the activity still returns me a feature dataset which includes the feature for maptips there. To me, after close maptip window, it should remove the maptip feature from current active feature collection.

 

Would you please confirm if this is a bug or any workaround to address above issue? Thanks a lot !
