Why does the viewer stop at the splash screen?

Can someone remind me what to check when the viewer lauches to the spash screen and just hangs there?  I've verified that teh viewer launches correctly from Manager and from the short URL in Index.html.  We're reverse proxying the URL through Apache, and the URL in Application Settings in Manager is valid to the configuration file.  When we use the proxy path in Apache, however, the launch stops with the splash screen and goes no further.

  Seems LG no longer wants us to put the short URLs into the Index.html file.  At least at 4.5/2.6.  If it is there, it causes it to hang at the Splash Screen.  Instead, edit your viewer, and on the Viewer Info tab, enter a unique global ID.  Put the same value as you used in Index.html and your URLs will then work without changing them.

  I'm having the same hang up - - it gets to the splash screen, but the site never loads.  It is only happening on the iPads though.  Desktop sites are loading fine.  Any ideas before I submit a ticket for this problem?

  @Stephanie - Have you checked the loading of files using Fiddler?  I'm wondering if it's trying to load the tablet.json.js file (instead of desktop.json.js that your desktop users would load) and perhaps it doesn't exist or is corrupt?
