Zoom to Search Result
When our users search for one address using the serach box they get one result in the results (which is exactly what should happen). It seems like no matter how many times I tell them they have to click on it to zoom to the feature, they keep complaining about not getting the information they need. Is there some way to automatically zoom to a search result when there's only one result in the results list?

Hi Rebecca,
You can do this with a workflow, I'm not sure about global search/instant search though. Have a look at the GetFeatureSetExtent and SetMapExtent activities. These will zoom to the feature(s) that is(are) found via the QueryTask activity. I can provide an example if you'd like.

I agree that it would a a useful addition to the Global Search box. Can I suggest that you request it in our ideas section (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1) so that people can see it and vote on it? If it gains enough traction, we will look at adding it to a future release of the viewer :)
