Add transparency to measurement view highlight color..

When I measure, the segment measurement, and the total measurement highlight color blocks out things that I dont want it too. Is there any way to add transparency to the highlight color? Or move where the text is place? Thanks

  Ethan-- did you ever hear back on this question? I would like aso to move/reposition coordinate labels as they also block the map feature.
