Export Plotted Coordinates
Howdy,
Dont think this is possible as yet, but would be a useful enhancement. Once you have plotted a series of coordinates it would be great if you could then export them (with the x y values) as a csv. xls or shp etc.
Cheers

Chris,
You can do this with GVH 2.6 and above. Take a look at feature video titled "Coordinates Tools" dated April 20, 2016. It shows you how to export the coordinate information.

Thanks for that Richard! Worked like a charm! 0 -
It's a very popular function at my work place! Thanks LatGeo! 0 -
Thanks Richard,
I have disabled export to .shp by default on our external sites as there are layers that either we are not custodians of, or there are other supply restrictions on them. Therefore, with this solution, a user still cant export the coordinates as a shapefile. I am hopeful that sometime in the near future, Latitude will enable us to individually "tag" a layer for export rather than the all or nothing approach we have at the moment.
Having said that though, the ability to export the plotted coordinates as a csv or xlsx, should at least put some smiles on the faces of our users.
Cheers

@Chris, we have a free module that adds the capability to enable or disable the export functionality. It is intended more on a permission basis rather than a layer basis, but may do what you are after. Documentation, code, and examples are posted on Github (https://github.com/DigitalDataServices/GeocortexMenuComponents) 0
