transperency for individual layers

Hi

 

I'm checking whether a transperency can be applied to individual layers(not grouped layers) in HTML viewer.

 

if so, can I request the workflow please ?

  I've had success with this by applying transparency to specific layers in the mxd before it's published as a service. I also noticed that for it to work properly in my site I had to set the image format for the map service to PNG32 in Essentials.
