Controlling Access to Tools via Permissions (GVH-3678)

It would be good to be able to control permissions for tools much like as is done with Workflows and map layers. So when defining a Toolbar (or TAB) you can set which user/AD group can actually access that tool(bar).
I know this can be done with a workflow - though that just grays out the tool - and it can be done via editing the JSON config files but it would be much easier to do at the Permissions level.

This is currently possible for tools within a toolbar, but it would be great to allow removal of toolbar groups, and entire toolbars as well. 0 -

This is not something that will be addressed in the 2.X line of HTML5 viewers. It will be considered for the new configuration model in the 3.X versions. 0
