When using the Create New Feature tool I get "There was an error applying feature edits: Internal Error during object insert."
I can edit the existing features and delete existing features. I get the above Error when I try to add a feature.

Hi Steve,
Have a look at the REST SYSTEM log file from the day the error occurred. The log files will be located here -
C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\REST\App_Data\Logs\
and see if it contains any more information on the error.
It sounds like you would need to submit a support case to dig into it deeper.
Regards.

We're having the same issue with a viewer that had been working previously. Did you ever find a resolution Steve? 0 -
Not yet, I made the mistake of upgrading ArcMap to 10.4.1 and have spent my time fighting bugs. Hopefully by next week I'll be able to get with Geocortex to resolve this. 0 -
I'm wondering if this is an ArcGIS server issue. When I restart the offending service, users can edit/add features again. The mystery is why it fails in the first place and needs to be restarted.... 0 -
I'll try restarting the service in the morning. In the mean time I'm waiting for Geocortex to get back to me on this and a couple of other support items. I'll let you know how it goes. 0 -
I'm having the same problem; Steve did you ever get this resolved? 0 -
Yes I did, it ended up being a rights issue in SQL server database. Esri support was able to trouble shoot the issue using Arcgis online. Once I could edit a feature in arcgis online it went pretty smooth in geocortex.
give support a call and they should be able to help.0 -
It would'nt be a DB rights issue on my end. We were able to create a features a week ago (and before that) and then a few of my users are getting the "Internal Error during object insert" all of a sudden this week. I dont have much support hours left so I was hoping to get some clarification on here - so thanks for the resonse! 0
