    Hi Steve,

Have a look at the REST SYSTEM log file from the day the error occurred.  The log files will be located here -

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\REST\App_Data\Logs\

and see if it contains any more information on the error.

It sounds like you would need to submit a support case to dig into it deeper.

    Regards.

We're having the same issue with a viewer that had been working previously. Did you ever find a resolution Steve?

Not yet, I made the mistake of upgrading ArcMap to 10.4.1 and have spent my time fighting bugs. Hopefully by next week I'll be able to get with Geocortex to resolve this.

I'm wondering if this is an ArcGIS server issue. When I restart the offending service, users can edit/add features again. The mystery is why it fails in the first place and needs to be restarted....

I'll try restarting the service in the morning. In the mean time I'm waiting for Geocortex to get back to me on this and a couple of other support items. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm having the same problem; Steve did you ever get this resolved?

Yes I did, it ended up being a rights issue in SQL server database. Esri support was able to trouble shoot the issue using Arcgis online. Once I could edit a feature in arcgis online it went pretty smooth in geocortex.

give support a call and they should be able to help.

It would'nt be a DB rights issue on my end. We were able to create a features a week ago (and before that) and then a few of my users are getting the "Internal Error during object insert" all of a sudden this week. I dont have much support hours left so I was hoping to get some clarification on here - so thanks for the resonse!
