Base map transparency slider widget

I've configured the basemap transparency slider group setting for 3 map services in a site. I can see transparency sliders in the layer list for each individual layer but I'd like to get the slider widget to show up. The slider group shows in the basemaps list but the widget won't appear in the viewer. I've followed the steps in the admin guide but still can't figure this out. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

GE 4.5.1, GVH 2.6.1

  I found a setting in the Basemap module section of the desktop.json.js file but when I change the value to true this happens:

  Hi Rebecca,

  The issue seems to come from having multiple (more than 1) layers visibility enabled at once.

  Please try enabling the visibility of only one layer as the default. This should fix the issue.
