    Hi Jason,

The Geocoder itself is setup on the GIS Services > Geocoding page within Essentials Manager.   This same page includes the setting to use the Geocoder when searching (Include in Global Search).  You can enable the reverse Geocoding option by using the  "Map Context Menu" when editing the HTML5 viewer and checking the "Show Reverse Geocoder" checkbox.  This will display the address when a point is right-clicked on the map.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Regards,

I setup the GIS Geocoding service as described and checked the "Include in Global Search" check box. When I search for any address no results are displayed.

FYI: When I right click on the map, address is displayed, reverse geocoding is working.

Any ideas why global search is not returning address search?

    Sandeep,

What did you pick for the Global Search Key - SingleLine or something else?  Can you check what parameters are being submitted for the geocode (using Fiddler or browser's developer tools).

What I found is that even though I chose SingleLine as the search key, what got submitted in the geocode request were blank parameters for street and city.  What I entered in the search box was not submitted at all and there was no SingleLine parameter submitted.

I'm wondering if you see the same issue?

    Peter.
