Server Error after installing GE 4.5.1
Greetings!
I installed GE 4.5.1 as a new instance on our development server and everything went smoothly. I just installed it as a new instance on our production server and I'm receiving a Server Error when I try to access Geocortex Essentials Manager - - Runtime Error Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionaly, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated." Going to the REST endpoint gives me a server error and says "Could not load file or assembly 'App_global.asax.1wykmqsy.dll' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied."
Essential manager and existing sites that are older versions (4.2 and 4.3) installed on the same machine are still runing OK (thank goodness!).
Does anyone know what's going on here and how to fix it?

Hi Stephanie. It could be a file permissions issue (Essentials can't write its generated assemblies where it wants) or it could be due to something else (the drive is out of space, perhaps?). If the cause still isn't apparent, I would send an email to (support@latitudegeo.com) to open a support case. 0 -
