Global Search Table Zoom To Related Feature
I have a table that is related to a point feature on the map. When I use the Global Search to find records in the table, there is no option to zoom to the related point feature. When I have two related point features I am able to search one and zoom to the other. Am I missing something? Is there any out of the box functionality to allow this?

Hi Andrew,
Could you walk us through what happens when you use the Global Search to find records in the table? I'd like to know whether the link to zoom to the related feature shows up but doesn't work, or if it just doesn't show up at all. If it does show up, try zooming out as far as you can in the viewer before clicking on it and see if that changes the behaviour.
We do have a bug filed about to zooming to related features (GVH-12011), but I can't be certain yet if it's related to your issue.
Thanks!

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for getting back to me. I guess to be more specific, when I am viewing the feature details for a record in a table there is no option to zoom to that feature.

I assume this is because the table has no spatial information. The record is related to another feature that does have spatial data, and I was trying to find an easy way to zoom to that feature.0 -
Hi,
Is there already a workaround for this case?
Thanks,

Hi Sander,
So far the only workaround for this is creating a custom workflow that searches for a record in the table, selects the join ID, and then uses that ID to find the related spaitial record and zooms to that location. I run this workflow through a custom toolbar button, but you could also run the workflow through a hyperlink in the feature details.
Let me know if you need a more detailed answer and I can post the workflow I created. I hope this helps!

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for the workaround. If it's possible you may post the workflow you created ;)
Kind regards,
Sander0
