HTML5 Viewer 2.7 Fails to Load After Update

Hi All,

 

I've recently updated my development site from GE Manager 4.5 and HTML5 2.6 to v4.6 and 2.7, respectively. I've updated the HTML5 viewer on all my sites. Now when I try to load the HTML5 viewer for any site, it hangs on the splash screen. This happens on new sites / viewers also. 

The only clue I have is an error in the javascript console: Framework.js:211 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property 'id' of null

 

Any help appreciated.

  Hi Jody,

   

  After you upgrade the viewer, when you edit the viewer, can you load the new settings in the management pack? Could you please try clearing the browser cache? I believe if you create a new viewer, the viewer should load.

  HI Long,

   

  Thanks for the reply. I could see the new settings in GE Manager, and the sites failed to load whether the viewer was completely new or upgraded. 

  I removed the template from post-installer & deleted the IIS HTML5 folder; re-deployed the template. That resolved the issue.
