Resetting Instant Search HTTP error

I often get this error when starting an Instant Search indexing process in GE: 

 

"HTTP Error - Unauthorized or Forbidden. Please check your credentials.Encountered at [time] for URL [map service url]. Will retry after [time]" and I get lock out when I try to start scannning the service again until the "Will retry after" time has passed.  One of the issues is that each time the error is thrown, the time from when the error is thrown to when it will retry scanning get longer and longer.  Right now I have a service lock up for 24 hours with that error. This makes it difficult to troubleshoot issues with Instant Search.

 

Is there anyway to reset this error and lock out so I can try scanning the service again before the desiginated time?
