customize labels

Essentials 4.6.0 and Viewer 2.7.0

 

I am unable to customise labels on any polygon or polyline features. The toggle is working as expected but not the customise for label visibility, field, font or alignment. In fact clicking "apply" and "done" don't do anything at all. Works fine on point features.

  I am having the same issue. Label Toggle works as expected, but not the Customize Labels for polylines and polygon labels of features.

  Hi Long,

   

  This has been investigated by Latitude this week, there must be a few crossed wires going on.

   

  For everyone following this thread:

   

  Internal bug # GVH-12124    -  label customisation only available if halo is applied to labels.

   

  ie. if you put on a halo, even a transparent/no colour one, customisation works.

   

  I'm still doing some additional testing to reproduce some associated issues, but putting the halo on has definitely done the job as a temporary work-around before this is fixed.

  Thanks Lauren for the info. I can confirm that enabling a halo solved the problem.

  This issue was fixed in the 2.7.1 HTML5 viewer, which is now available (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCDownloads?productTitle=Essentials&sub-nav=downloads&main-nav=essentials) here or through your local distributor.
