After opening the ArcGIS Identity Setup tool, I tried many different Subdomain Names ending with the red error message at the bottom, "Please use only alphanumeric characters or dashes."  The only entry that got me close was simply putting "www" in the subdomain name.  This brought me to the Esri login page, but, "The username you entered is not a member of this organization."  I know that I'm a member of my ArcGIS Online organization, but maybe I'm trying to login to Esri's or Geocortex's organization by using just "www."

 

Please help me use Analytics.  If this ends up being anything like Insight 1.0, I've gone to buy bug spray.

  had success simply putting "cityofmarietta" in the subdomain name box

   

  seems simple in hindsight

  Hi Ross,

   

  Glad you were able to figure the subdomain out but I understand that we could make it clearer that no protocol in front of the domain is needed. I've created a ticket GID-1499 to simplify the subdomain entry so that it can handle leading protocols better.
