Configuring GlobalSearch in a Workflow

Folks

 

is it possible to configure GlobalSearch at runtime in a workflow ie. I would like to use GlobalSearch in my workflow but after I have asked the user what layers they are interested in. I would like to then turn off that 'Include in GlobalSearch' checkbox within the workflow and then run the GS. I know I can turn it off at the map layers level in the Manager but can that be done within the workflow?

  Did you try using the SetLayerProperty activity? I think that you would be using the "Searchable" property.  You'll still have to configure the individual attribute properties to determine what is searchable.
