GVH fails to upload .csv file with custom WKID spatial reference;

Hi all,

GVH fails to upload .csv file with custom WKID spatial reference, for example, I tried to add a csv file contains two columns represent the x and y in Israeli coordinate system, which is not listed in the spatial reference, so I chose the custom WKID which is 2039, but it returns the below error!

What might be the issue here?

Hi Lubna,

Unfortunately your points have to be in the same projection as your viewer in order for them to successfully upload. This is just the way the tool works. So since this is not a bug, I would suggest adding this to our Ideas Board here:

so that this tool can be improved upon for future releases. Our developers monitor it very closely so they will be aware of this issue. If many clients upvote it, then it will be integrated in a future release.
