Save Project not working, stalls on 'saving project' screen
I'm running GE 4.6.2 and HTML5 Viewer 2.7.1. This is my first try at enabling projects in our dev environment. We are using Windows Integrated security only. On sign in, the Project tools are available, however when I click 'Save' the 'Projects' dialog comes up with 'saving project' message and stalls there, the project does not save and it cannot be cancelled so I cannot access the map again. Below are the errors found in the document store log, although I am not sure they contain the issue as they do not log after each attempt to save.

I am experiencing the same issue. Were you able to determine the cause?
Thanks-Shana0 -
Hi Shana - unfortunately I have not solved this issue yet, however it only occurs in my dev environment. Projects are saving on our production environment so I'm thinking it's a configuration issue on our dev but have yet to get to the bottom of it. I will post here if we find a solution. 0 -
We have a user that is running into this also, however only in Chrome. On her machine she is able to save a project in IE. I'm wondering if it might be related to some setting in Chrome (at least for my user)? I verified she has the latest version of Chrome running, which is the same as our other users. Anyone have any ideas? 0 -
Hi Everyone,
For those that haven't seen it yet, there is a known issue affecting saved projects in Chrome version 54+, which was fixed in version 2.7.2 of the HTML5 viewer. For more information, see this post (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCkba?sub-nav=kba&main-nav=essentials&id=kA360000000GqpLCAS) .
As a first step, let us know if we can rule that out.
Hope that helps,
Amanda0
