Add Undo/Redo Buttons to GVH (GVH-4376)
PlannedGVS had handy undo/redo buttons that could be used to undo or redo changes when adding markup. It would be great to have these in GVH as well!

This is a feature we've been wanting to implement in the HTML5 viewer; in fact, in the 2.5 viewer, we added some support for undo and redo in custom implementations. There's no current timeline on an out-of-box undo/redo feature, but it is under consideration for a release following Essentials 4.7.
In the meantime, if a custom implementation is something that interests you, you should consult with your account manager.0 -
Undo/redo possibillity would be much apreciated. Are you planning on anything this year ? 0 -
Is this feature available now?
The editing of redline/mark-ups is very painful without UNDO.
You'll need to store changes to each markup shape in a LIFO queue.
- Include all points (undo a re-shape)
- Include all symbology (undo the colour change)
Ideally, you should also include options such as Merge/Cut/Reshape polygons or lines,
Can the ESRI redlining support undo/redo in Web App Builder?

Any detail on timeline? A client is asking for this as well.
Thank you0 -
June 2018, was hoping that HTML5 parity with the SL viewer would be acheived by now. Not being able undo/redo a edit is a most needed functionality in our business. Is there any action on this feature request? 0 -
Happy to see this is on the Roadmap. Any updates on timing since the 2016 post? Users love GVH, but have been asking for this since we made the switch. Thanks! 0 -
Any update on this? Our users would like to be able to undo when performing markup. I checked the undo/redo commands that were released in version 2.5 and they don't work. 0
