HTML5 Launch List
With silverlight, we could edit hte viewer.xml to create a launch page with a dropdown list of available sites. Is there anything similar for HTML5?

Unfortunately there isn't. You would have to write your own I'm afraid.
If you'd like to see this added, I would suggest posting it to the Ideas section so it can be voted on :)

Can the Silverlight dropdown be tweaked so that a URL that was pointing to a silverlight URL now points to a HTML5 URL? For exaple:

Hi Scott,
I'm sorry to say that you can't add your HTML5 viewers to the GVS viewer.xml file. The two viewers are not compatible.
However, I am happy to say that I spent a little time looking into this, and I managed to craft a rough template of a splash page you can use for your HTML5 viewer. You will need to manually create the entries for your launch URLs that you want displayed (there are examples in the file that will help with this), and there is no styling, but hopefully it's a helpful starting point!
