Street View integration question re: code gallery sample

In reference to the downloadable script here:

Under 'Deployment'  step 3 - there is a reference to 'your api key'.  Not familiar with this piece - has anyone deployed this and have any tips for what this piece refers to?

  You need a key from Google:
