Sharing projects and Active Directory

Having a difficult time figuring out how to trouble shoot an issue here - hoping someone can point me in the right direction. 

 

When saving a project (GE 4.6.2/GVH 2.7.1) - we are not able to find any users in the correct domain.  On our production machine, when you start to type a user's name in the 'share with' box, the only accounts that show up are local accounts (SERVERNAME\user).  It will not find any domain accounts.

 

Similarly, on our dev machine, it is reading som domains, but not the correct one as far as providing options as you type a user name.  However, if you enter the fully qualified user name (myname@desireddomain) it will accept it, just not display any suggestions in the dropdown until you type the @ and start to type the domain.

 

Wondering where in Geocortex config/installation files to start looking at this.
