Time Slider values.
Is there an easy way to capture the current Time variables (Start and End Times) in a workflow. I am trying to automatically add these values to a printed map.

Hi Marcus,
I've looked into a few different approaches, but it unfortunately seems that there isn't an easy way to capture this information from the time slider in a workflow. I would advise posting this to the Ideas section (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=Workflows%20and%20Workflow%20Designer&type=workflow&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1) so that others can vote to consider bringing this into the product in a future release. I have noticed an interest recently in getting more options for the ways we can interact with time sliders using workflows.
Hope this helps,

Thanks Amanda,
I ended up writing a python script that changes the dates in the site.xml. I scheduled this script to run every day at midnight, ahdusting the dates by 1 day.0 -
Hi Marcus,
Thank you for sharing your workaround with us. That's a unique approach that other might find useful as well.

What I want to do is to alter the global search (or make a worklfow that does a search), but where the results are also reflected by the time slider. So only the results that respect the current time zone in the time slider will show up in the results list.
Is this possible?
For this I want to use the current startdate and enddate of the time slider, but there is no way the catch that in a workflow?0
