Duration for which files uploaded by user will be retained in the server.

Hi,

 

When the user uploads or generates any temporary data from viewer onto GE Server like XY Data using Upload tool, request for print templates which will create a print file in server....what is the duration for which the data will be retained in the server.

 

Is there an configuration available to set the time for retaining the data on the server.

  Hello Srikanth,

   

  Sorry for the delay getting back to you on this!  When temporary data is uploaded to the server, the data exists only in that user's session.  If you want to retain it, you'll need to save the session as a project file.  

   

  As for creating a print file, those files are kept in the Essentials temp folder for 3 months.
