How long does it take before data appears on the Analytics dashboard?

It appears that there is a significant delay in what I see on the Analytics dashboard (like an hour behind). Ideally the information would be real-time. How can I display this information as close to real-time as possible?

  Hi Ethan,

   

  Analytics isn't really designed to be a real time monitoring application.  You can set the collectors to run at most once every 15 minutes, but we find that much more than that can cause issues with A) the load on the ArcGIS server and B) the Geocortex Core data store not being able to keep up with all the requests coming in.

   

  Note that the 15 minute collection time refers to how often the data gets collected and sent into the data store.  It is then queued, and will take more time before it appears in the reports page.  How much time it will take depends on A) how much data is in the queue, and B) how much RAM the server has.  You'll also see your data quicker if your are hosting your data folder on an SSD as opposed to an HDD.

   

  You can set the collector run time in the configuration page for the servers that you want to override the default collection time for.
