I am getting this error when I try to add a feature layer to the site.  The serivce (from ArcGIS server) is running fine. I can add on arcgis online without a problem.  any idea?

  I am having this same problem. Did you ever find a solution? Or what was causing the error?

  Hi folks,

   

  We recently encountered this error on a couple of our VMs.  We found that recycling the app pool for Essentials Manager let us add the feature layer.  Give that a shot, and if it doesn't work please contact support@geocortex.com so that we can help investigate.

   

  I've filed this as GE-8933 so that we can work towards determing the root cause, and will add you both as stakeholders.

  I had similar issue on gcx 4.9.1 and export and print wasn't working. After App pool recycle, it started working.

  Started randoml;y having the same issue as well. AppPool Recycle did the trick. Couldnt add a new feature layer and other feature layers already in the site were busted.
