  Hi Lakshmi,

   

  I've found a couple of Support Center threads that are good resources for this:

  1. In this thread (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCForum?sub-nav=forum&main-nav=essentials&#!/feedtype=SINGLE_QUESTION_DETAIL&criteria=ALLQUESTIONS&id=90660000000PDwuAAG) , Carmen provides some approaches to use and Erik mentions a workaround that is similar to your approach.  If you're using the GetLayerInfoByProperty activity, you'll need to set properties for that layer (very bottom of the edit layer page in Essentials Manager)
  2. In this thread (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCForum?sub-nav=forum&main-nav=essentials&#!/feedtype=SINGLE_QUESTION_DETAIL&criteria=ALLQUESTIONS&id=90660000000XbLcAAK) , Lauren has a working example that relies on the GetLayerListItemInfo activity instead of the GetLayerInfoByProperty activity.  Brian has an example that uses the approach Carmen described.
