essentials manager performance

Is there some way to improve essentials manager performance? Even after rebooting our web server it's responding very slowly when trying to do something simple like clicking on the icon to edit a layer. It takes everl seconds to respond. Adding a map service was also painfully slow. I'm wondering if there are temp files I can clean out somewhere or other things I can check. Right now, it's painfully slow. GE v.4.5.1

  Hi Rebecca,

   

  When the server is slow to respond, what do you see in the task manager?  Are any processes using up a large amount of RAM or CPU?  

   

  If you run Fiddler while accessing Manager, are there any requests that are taking a particularity long time to complete?
