Distance tool doesn't add measurement on the map.

Hello. Distance tool is not adding the measurement result on the map.  What configuration I need to do?

  We have a Knowledge Base Article (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCkba?sub-nav=kba&main-nav=essentials&#!/feedtype=SINGLE_ARTICLE_DETAIL&criteria=BESTANSWERS&id=kA3600000004Nl9CAE) to help troubleshoot for this scenario.  I'd recommend checking to see if the steps listed there help resolved the issue (and let us know what you uncover if they don't).

  Hi Hazel Riordan-Veteto I think the latest link for the article is https://community.vertigis.com/hc/en-us/articles/4415960650130-Measurement-is-missing-labels , but some of the contents are a bit outdated.  You can just use your browser's dev tools to check if the requests to the geometry service are succeeding like this, instead of using Fiddler:

  

   

  Another thing to check is Essentials Manager > Viewers > Edit Viewer > Measurement.  There's a bug that can sometimes cause black values to get cleared out on this page, so you may want to test setting these colours to a very dark grey instead of true black:
