GA Hub couldn't remote connect to remote server's WMI

hello, I have trouble to add a remote server on the same private network as the hub server is to GA to mornitor. Despite I've enabled the WMI and Window Remote Management rules in Windows Firewall, the Add Server page keeps saying "An error occurred while trying to connect to the remote Server. Please ensure that the given Server's firewall settings allow access for remote connections to WMI. If the problem persists please see the documentation for more information.". But I have already enabled the rules as asked in the admin doc. BTW, tried restarte GA still the same error. I have added all other resource like ArcGIS Server , Portal, ArcGIS Online all working fine. any advice would be appreicated. thank you.

  Hi Jack,

   

  WMI can be a little tricky.  Can you connect to the WMI namespace from the hub server using the wbemtest.exe utility (per this document: http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/apm/docs/wmitesting.pdf )?  This will help you narrow down whether the issue is with Analytics, or with a firewall somewhere in between.  

   

  If it's an option, can you try temporarily disabling the firewall on the target server?  That may help too.  

   

  Are the servers on the same domain?
