Upload Data - Control the type of the uploaded data type

How to control the allowable file type when using upload data file . we need to control the file list type as in silverlight

  Hi Khalid,

   

  I don't understand what your needs are in this case.  The Silverlight and HTML5 process for uploading data are quite different.

   

  In Silverlight, data is not uploaded to a service, it is processed by the browser plugin and added to the map.  Only CSV and Shapefile data may be added to the map.

   

  In HTML5, data is uploaded to an Essentials endpoint that converts the data to graphics.

   

  If you require the available types to be filtered, please submit an Idea to the Ideas forum (if you haven't already) so the product developers can see it, and other users can vote and comment.
