Windows Integrated Sign In screen user@domain.com watermark text - how to change it?
I use Windows Integrated, but because user information gets stripped by the web server, the user must complete the Sign In page. This has not been a problem except until lately, due to the example value of user@domain.com in the User Name: box. The example comes from the data-watermark value in Geocortex.Platform.dll. It is misleading.
If a user follows the example and enters his/her full email address, the login will fail. Login succeeds only if the user ignores the example and enters the username without the @domain portion. It's causing confusion, so how can I change example text? If I edit data-watermark in Geocortex.Platform.dll in Notepad++, the Sign In page will not load. Perhaps a text edit is not compatible, so I undid the change. Please help.
Thanks,
Justin

I've learned the field is not user configurable out of the box. If I'm willing to pay for custom development Latitude can remove it for me. The suggested alternative is to post this to the Ideas section of the support center so that users can vote on it. If it gains enough interest, Latitude can look at adding the ability to customize that page to a future version of Essentials. I will do that now. 0
