Feature Map Highlight symbol only border no fill
Is there any way I can only highlight the border of the selected feature without any fill color?

Yes, I'm doing that here: https://maps.srcity.org/Html5Viewer/Index.html?viewer=parcel
It is controlled in the look and feel section when you edit the viewer. The Highlights section has controls for Fill and Border color and also border width. On mine, I'm setting it to transparent by setting the last number in the Fill color to 0. Since it is 100% transparent, the first 3 numbers (RGB color) are meaningless.

Hi. Mike,
Thank you for your quick help. It works only on the map in the viewer. But in the feature map in the report the border highlight didn't work. See the image below. left side is the feature map on the report and the right side is the viewer.
How can I make the feature map highlight only for the border?

You can set the opacity when you create the Feature Map for the layer. I don't like setting it to 0 (transparent), since you have no control over the outline color and width and it is hard to see which parcel is selected. If you look at the parcel report on the above mentioned site, I'm setting the opacity to 40 (out of 255) - mostly trasparent and easy to see the aerial, but clear what parcel is being reported. 0 -
hmm.. I tried the opacity in the feature map setting but as you said, no control on the outline color or width. The result is not good. If the polygon has a fill color like my case, feature map highlight didn't work well since the fill highlight color changes the underneath fill color from the map service. I need only the boundary highlight on the feature map. I guess this should be a future improvement. 0 -
Yes, that would make a nice improvement. In the meantime you might try using gray - that wouldn't change the colors as much, just darken them. 0 -
@Mike thanks for the help you always provide here! 0
