With Windows Integrated authentication, whenever a user arrives at the Sign In page, the User Name box contains an example prompt of user@domain.com.

This is problematic because at some organizations the email address is not a valid user name for Geocortex. When a user follows the example and enters his/her email address, the login will fail.

A login attempt will succeed only if the user knows to ignore the example and enter instead their eight-character username.

I propose that Latitude add the ability to customize the Sign In page to enable us to avoid this type of problem.
