Home Panel - a way to create user added web links

The only way I can think of doing this easily would be to have a link on the home panel which launched a workflow. This workflow would show users the current "user added links" and have a button which allowed users to add another link.

in essence the workflow would read from and write to a file/database containing "user added links" and then display them when the link on the home panel is clicked.

No, and with good reason: allowing end-users to create or add HTML content anywhere in the HTML5 viewer would effectively give them license to execute arbitrary code, or to write arbitrary code that another end-user could unwittingly execute. This would be a serious security issue. If you have an application used by a handful of authenticated users, the risk of this flaw being used inappropriately may be low, but the consequences of someone enabling it when they shouldn't have are sufficiently worrying that we're more comfortable not allowing it under any circumstances.

You might have links on your home page that point to other pages that have links.  The second page would display links for a subgroup of users, and there would be a page for each subgroup, each with its own URL.  Who and how the subgroup pages get edited would be decided outside Geocortex.  Could be done on Sharepoint or something else like it.

Mike - that is an interesting idea.  It is an internal site so this might be a workable solution.  You have at least put me on a better track...

    Thanks,
