Still no DataConnection to File Geodatabase?

Essentials 2.7.0 HTML5 2.8.0

 

Is there still ow way to establish a DataConnection and DataLink to tables in a file geodatabase on the Geocortex server?  I don't see any responses to this question since 2012.

 

Let me know if there's a way to do so.

  Sean - Unfortunately not. This is an Esri issue. There is an idea (https://geonet.esri.com/ideas/1466) on the Esri website from 2010 requesting this functionality.

   

  You can use OBDC connections to personal geodatabases, but I prefer SQLite/Spatialite databases myself using https://www.devart.com/dotconnect/sqlite/download.html.

  Thanks, Tom. I think we'll pursue a different solution given our enterprise licenses with Oracle and Microsoft, but it's good to know the limitations inherent in the ESRI architecture.
